Real Estate Portfolio and Building Analytics
This main overview provides you with the high level details on a portfolio, regional or building level that are connected to PIE. Check the key metrics such as the numbers of floors, zones and capacity details that PIE covers. This overview also shows the realtime occupancy rate and people count of your buildings so you can instantly determine how your real estate is currently being utilised.

Heatmaps instantly show you where large concentrations of people are at a certain moment in time. The Building Intelligence Dashboard visualises the data from PIE in several ways, among which in heatmaps on the floor plans. The heatmaps in BID are shown in context of the capacity for each zone, where dark blue means empty and red indicates that the zones is fully occupied. Use the ‘play’ button and see how intensively floors and neighbourhoods have been utilised throughout the day .
Zone & Summary Metrics
The zone metrics are projected on the floor plans and show the amount of people counted in each zone. Additionally, you can choose to visualise the occupancy rate for a selected time slot, in which the amount of counted people are measured against the capacity of the zone. The floor plan functionality has a summary on the right of the floor plan, providing the most important occupancy metrics summarised for that day such as now, peak, and average. The occupancy development throughout the day is also visualised in a graph and compared to historic data, allowing you to easily discover unusual occupancy patterns.
Identifying underperforming and vacant space has never been easier. When using the Utilisation reports, select a location against a time period such as day, week, or month or simply choose a custom timeframe. Then filter the data on lowest utilisation and you’ll be presented with an overview of vacant or underperforming zones, floors and building. With these building analytics, you can have the right data at your fingertips to start optimising those inefficient square meters or prove that more capacity is required based on accurate data instead of static metrics or gut feeling. Filter the data on highest utilisation and see which neighbourhoods are actually over-utilised and need attention in a different way. Counts and occupancy rates The reports functionality provide immediate insights into large amounts of data over longer periods of time. Discover trends and detect exceptions in the blink of an eye. Filter on a day, week or month level for specific details on the occupancy of the entire building or all the way down to a specific room or zone. Compare the occupancy metrics with other periods of time or even other locations to be able to benchmark buildings across your portfolio. If you want to share reports, simply hit the download button and a CSV report is created.
